The latest updates from Homes By Orange

Pre-schoolers at a Nelson early learning centre are back to one of their favourite pastimes – scrambling about on wooden boxes – thanks to the generous support of three companies in the local building industry.
When Homes by Orange heard that not-for-profit organisation Campus Corner was in dire need of some new play equipment, they rallied the support of Placemakers and Orange Joinery to get the job done.
Head teacher Amanda says replacing the old boxes was going to be a major outlay and it was a relief when Homes by Orange stepped in to help.
“The climbing boxes are a hugely valuable part of our physical exploration and gross motor development for our 2-5 year olds and a favourite part of the outdoor environment here at Campus Corner. The new boxes are an absolute hit with our kids. The team here at Campus Corner would just like to thank Homes by Orange, Placemakers and Orange Joinery for this amazing support!”
John Andrew, from Orange Joinery, says it was a pleasure to support a local community organisation by donating 7 hours of labour to build the boxes.
“While we’re a busy business, we like to give back to our community when we can. Working alongside our partner company Homes by Orange, with ply provided by Placemakers, it was a team effort and we were happy to play a part. It’s great to hear the kids are enjoying them!”
