House and land package the perfect fit

Before Ruth and Mark Stringer moved to Nelson in Dec 2016 their priority was to find a new home. After three months of searching they saw Orange advertising on Trademe a house they were building in Bishopdale.  It ticked all their boxes – they loved it and bought it without hesitation.

Orange gave them the option of making changes to the design and fittings but they were happy with the original plan and scheme.

The three bedroom with open plan living area works well for the new family. Ruth explains, “We moved in in February and had a baby in April. The house is nice and warm and weather proof and with its great layout is perfectly baby-friendly.”

Ruth particularly enjoys the open kitchen, dining, living area.

“It’s lovely and light. The windows are in just the right position to maximise sunlight and frame the view out to Atawhai, the boulder bank and beyond to Tasman Sea. There’s also good indoor outdoor flow with two separate patios.”

The Stringers’ found dealing with Orange great and hassle-free.

“With their open communication we felt well informed and kept up-to-date throughout the whole process. Tony was our project manager and he was great because he was easy to contact and always got back to us promptly which was helpful as we weren't in Nelson during the build. We’d recommend Orange to everyone.”
